This guide explains how to create and list a new activity from scratch.

 Select the desired activity category by typing in the dropdown.

 Upload an image that best represents your activity.

Next, choose an existing address or add a new one.

 Enter the street address, give it a venue name, and click 

 Set the number of attendees. Choose a maximum number or select 

 Set a price for the activity. In this example, we're charging twenty pounds.

 Choose the target audience and set an age range, if applicable. Adjust the minimum and maximum age, or set it to 

 Indicate the types of accessibility requirements the activity caters for

 In this example, we have created a one-off session, this could be an event, class, or tournament. Click 

 Set the date and duration of the activity. In this example, it's set for Saturday the fourth at eleven AM, lasting two hours.

 Review the schedule and remove any errors if necessary.

 The platform automatically generates a description based on the provided information. Edit this description if needed, then click 

After completing these steps, the activity is listed. You can access the booking page link or view advanced settings if needed.

In this article you'll learn how to add a new course to your activities. This feature is useful when you want to organise sessions that are booked collectively, like a six-week coaching course or a summer camp.

 Choose the course type. This is a group of sessions that are booked collectively.

 of your activity. For this example, we'll name it "Summer Camp".

. In this case, we'll choose "Activity Holiday Camp".

 for your activity. You can upload your own image or search for one in our image library. We'll select an image for a "kids camp".

. Once the image is uploaded, proceed to the next step.

 Provide the location where your activity takes place. Add the

 Specify the capacity of the course. If it's unlimited, click on the

This guide will help you set up your Stripe account so you can start accepting payments quickly and easily,

Step 1: Click on the red widget which says 'Connect bank', which will take you to the 'payment settings' and then click 'Connect Stripe' 



 Enter your email address. If you already have a Stripe account, use the email linked to it. If not, just enter your email and confirm your details.

This guide is for people who do not have an existing Stripe account. 

 Choose your business location and type. Options include individual / sole trader (good for self employed coaches), company (good for limited businesses), or non-profit (good for community clubs)

. Fill in your name, date of birth, home address, and phone number.

 Select your industry. There isn't really a perfect fit for activity providers so we recommend choosing either event ticketing or recreational camps. 

 Add your website. If you don't have one, use your social media page (if you don't have either then please use - 

 Write a short description of what you do. For example, "I’m a kids sports coach"

 Enter your bank details and choose a payout schedule. We suggest setting it to automatic, either daily or weekly.

. Enter your organisation name or the name that will appear on your customers' statements. 

 If you want, add a shorter version of your organisation name. For contact info, use your mobile number or leave it blank.

 Review all the details you’ve entered and make any changes if needed.

That’s it! You’ve set up your Stripe account and are ready to accept payments. You will be re-directed to the Played platform.

In this article, you'll learn how to add a team member or multiple team members to your Played account.

. You have two options: admin or venue manager. Admins have full access to all functionality in your Played accounts. Venue managers have access to edit venues and the activities affiliated with those venues.

 Assign the new member to a specific venue.

 to send an email invitation to the new member. This email will prompt them to create a password and log in to the platform.

Once the new member signs up to your account, their status will turn green. This indicates that they're fully onboarded and part of your team on your paid account.

This guide explains how to add a new activity using a template.

 Choose to create an activity using a template. 

 Fill in the necessary information for the activity. This includes the name, image, description, location, capacity, price, gender, age, and accessibility provisions. 

 Specify the time and duration of the session. For instance, it could be on the 20th of April, starting at 10 AM, for a duration of an hour. 

 Set the activity to repeat on your preferred basis 

 Specify the end date for the repeating sessions. For instance, if the start date is the 20th of April, the end date could be the 25th of May. 

 Update any necessary contact information, add a custom email confirmation message, a post-activity completion message, and assign a survey to capture all the required information. 

Now click save and your activity is now available for people to book

This user guide explains the process of using the new deals feature. This feature enables the creation of deals for multiple items or participants, with the option to apply the deal to all activities or specific ones.

 Navigate to the settings located on the left-hand side.

 Define the criteria to qualify for the deal. For example, if it's for two or more participants, select that.

 Decide whether the deal is a fixed amount or a percentage. For this example, select 

Next, determine where to apply this deal:

 Apply the deal to all activities by clicking on

Learn how to create a checkout survey to capture more information from participants. 

Please note: we collect the following information on all bookings - customer name, email, phone number and participant name, so you do not need to add these to the surveys. 

Step 1:

 Give the survey a memorable name. Decide if it's for use at checkout or after an activity.

 Choose whether to ask the participant only on their first order or always.

 Choose the type of response you would like: you can select either single select, multi select checkbox, or free text..
