The New & Improved HeyGen Unlimited Plans!

HeyGen plans purchased before August 1, 2024 use a credit system. Users needed to spend credits each time they generated a video (e.g, creating a 5-minute Avatar Video costed 5 credits). And the number of credits users had depended on their subscription plan.

Feedback from the community showed that the credit system was confusing and stifled creativity. Today, we’re excited to announce new Creator and Team plans that allow users like yourself to create and edit as many videos as needed!

First and foremost, we will continue to support older plans

If you wish to remain on your old, credit-based Creator and Team plans, no action is needed! We will continue to support these plans.

But for those who want to switch to the new plans, please continue reading.

Introducing new unlimited Creator and Team plans

Below is a comparison of the key changes between legacy and new Creator and Team plans. If you're on a legacy plan and are interested in switching, please review the following table carefully. You will not be able to revert back to a legacy plan after switching.

How to switch to the new unlimited plans from previous old plans

You can self-service switch from a the old Creator or Team plan to a new plan with unlimited video generation. Simply click on the ‘Pricing’ button on the left navigation bar within the HeyGen web application. You will see a new page with the option to start the migration process. This will be available on Monday August 5th 10AM US PST time.

You can switch to a new plan that most closely aligns with your existing plan tier and billing cycle (e.g, If you have an older Creator plan with monthly billing, you can switch to the New Creator plan with monthly billing). After completing the initial migration, you can change to other tiers or billing cycles if desired.
