Realm Chef comes equipped with a book consultation assistant currently powered by Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Claude 3.5 Sonnet is renowned for understanding nuanced literary elements, making it an invaluable tool for authors.

How To Use Chat Tool

Quickly get started by kicking off a text chat with Realm Chef by choosing one of the three pre-generated prompts.

A Quick Guide To Prompting

Prompting is how you communicate with Realm Chef to get the best results. Think of it as giving instructions to a helpful assistant who can read your book in lightning speed and generate text replies. The more specific you can be with the context you want Chef to analyze, the more accurate response will be.

Here are some examples of prompts and their use cases:

Brainstorming 😍

  • "Based on my manuscript, generate a list of 10 story hooks that could be a possible sequel to my novel."
  • "Which characters from my series do you think have the most potential for their own spinoff novels? "

Plotting 📚

  • "Using the card Mary Bennett's Encounter At The Inn, write a letter from Mary to her sister Kitty, talking about the Inn after she arrives in London."

Memory Recall 🧠

  • "How is Anna physically described in Book 1 - The Arrival?"
  • "What type of shifter is Carmella?"
  • "What is Eddie's favorite snack?"

Creating Card(s)

  • "Create a card for Jennifer's character profile"
  • "Generate 5 cards, one for each of those TikTok hooks"

Marketing

  • "Based on the themes, tone, and content of my manuscript, which revolves around [insert brief description of the manuscript's core theme], identify the most likely target audience for promotional efforts on Instagram. Take into account the manuscript's genre, the interests it appeals to, the age group it is most suitable for, and any other demographic factors that would help pinpoint the ideal reader."

Chat Tool Additional Features

Hovering over one of Realm Chef's messages with your mouse will reveal several buttons you can select from:

  • Provide Chat Message Feedback - Click the 'thumbs down' icon to send our team specific feedback on the reason you did receive a satisfying response. Please provide as much information as possible.
  • Regenerate Message - Clicking the 'Regenerate Message' button will delete Realm Chef's response and try to answer your query in a new way. This button is helpful if you want to get inspired or are not satisfied with the previous response.
  • Delete Message - You can click the trash bin icon to delete messages. Deleting a message will also remove that information as context for Realm Chef.
  • Save Message as Card - Save any chat reply from Chef as a card that will appear in your 'Saved Chat Messages' in the right-side Quick Access menu. This is helpful when working with many tools. If you find gold in the haystack of messages, you can save the message and search for it later.

Specifying File Context for Chat

The more specific you can be with the context you want Chef to analyze, the more accurate response will be:

  • Click on the Context button at the bottom of the chat tool
  • Toggle the switches for your files. When the switch is to the right (On), Chef will use that file as part of its retrieval process.

Quick Access Menu

On the right side of your screen, you'll see buttons that call up saved generations from any of our tools. For more information about how to use Cards, you can find more details by navigating to the Cards guide in our documentation.
