Working With Cards

What are Cards? Cards are short, exportable documents designed to help you save and organize your favorite content from various tools. They make it easy to manage and reference important information generated from chatting with Chef or using tools like the Story Bible or Marketing Strategy.
Creating Cards
- Navigate: Go to the he Story Bible or Marketing Strategy tools in the left-hand sidebar menu
- Add New Card: Click the 'Add New Card' button
- Fill Out Details: Enter the card title and content
- Save: Click the 'Save' button to create your card.
Editing Cards
- Hover: Hover over any card with your mouse
- View & Edit: Click on the 'View' button in the lower right corner of the card. You can read the entire card's content, edit, or delete sections.
- Save Changes: Click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the card once you're done editing.
Applying Tags
Tags help keep your cards organized.
- Create New Tag:
- Click on the dropdown icon on each card.
- Click the 'New Tag' button.
- Enter the new tag name and hit 'Enter' on your keyboard.
- Apply Tag to Card:
- Click on the dropdown icon on the card.
- Select the tag want to apply.
View Tag Collection
View All Cards: Click the 'All Cards' button to see every card in your collection, regardless of tags.
Searching for Cards 🔎
Search: Click the magnifying glass icon at the top to find a specific card.
Exporting Card(s)
Cards can be exported to markdown (.md) and text (.txt) formats for use in other writing software.
There are two ways to export cards:
- Copy/Paste Method: Click the copy/paste icon on the card, then 'Ctrl-V' on Windows or 'Cmd-V' on Max to paste into your writing software
- Export Method: Select one or multiple cards, click the 'Select All Cards' button, then click 'Export' in the pop-up menu. Choose your file type, click 'Export,' and download the file. The files will be saved to your Downloads folder on your computer.
Deleting a Card
- Select Card(s): Click on the card(s) you wish to delete
- Delete: Click the 'Delete' button in the pop-up at the bottom of the screen.
Providing Card Feedback
- Hover Over The Card: Move your mouse cursor over any card to reveal additional options.
- Click the 'Thumbs Down' Icon: Select the 'thumbs down' icon to give feedback on why the response didn't meet your expectations.
- Provide Detailed Feedback: A form will appear where you can describe what was unsatisfactory. Please provide as much detail as possible to help our team understand and improve the generations.
Using Cards with Chat Tool 💬
- Save Chat Message As Card - Hover over a reply from Chef and click the card icon to save the message.
- Quick Card Access - Use the buttons on the right-hand side to access generated cards from the Story Bible, Marketing Strategy Tool, All Cards, or view your saved chat messages.
- Using Cards as Context - Select one or multiple cards from the Quick Card Access view. This will provide additional context to Realm Chef during your conversations. For example, if working on a newsletter draft for a specific character, select the Character Profile card to use it as context.
