In this guide, you'll learn how to connect your bank account to Stripe for payment processing. This is especially helpful for community or volunteer clubs.

 widget on the left side after listing your first activity. Click it. (if you cannot see this widget, go to 'locations' and then 'edit location' and scroll down to 'payment settings' 

 A new page will open. Enter your email address.

 If you already have a Stripe account, use the email linked to it. If not, use your login email or any preferred email.

. Enter your mobile number to get a verification text.

 Enter the verification code from the text and click 

 If your club is a registered business, select 

 Pick your club's status: If it's a registered charity, select 

 Enter your club's legal name. If you don't have a registration number, please use 7 zero's (0000000)

 as the best option. Then, select your business website or social media. If you do not have any of these, please use 

 Write a short description of your club's activities.

 For the business representative, select the secretary, treasurer, or the person managing payments.

 Enter the name, date of birth, home address, and phone number.

 If your club doesn't have owners or directors, select 

 Enter the correct bank details for payment processing.

 We recommend setting up an automated payment schedule: daily, weekly, or monthly.

 Add the information you'd like to show on customer's bank statements when they make a booking. If you have a customer support number, include it.

 If asked for extra details, such as company registration number, then please enter 7 zeros (0000000).

Step 20: Once you have verified this information, please click 'Save' and you will be redirected to the Played platform. 

Once you've completed these steps, refresh your screen to remove the 

 notification. If you have questions, contact support through the support chat.

Setting up Stripe - Clubs

This guide will help you set up your Stripe account so you can start accepting payments quickly and easily as a coach

Step 1: Click on the red widget which says 'Connect bank', which will take you to the 'payment settings' and then click 'Connect Stripe' 

If the red widget is not visible. 

1. Go to the 'Locations' tab 
2. Then click on the 3 dots to 'edit location' > 
3. Scroll down to the 'Payment Settings' 
4. Click 'Connect Stripe' 



 Enter your email address. If you already have a Stripe account, use the email linked to it. If not, just enter your email and confirm your details.

This guide is for people who do not have an existing Stripe account. 

 Choose your business location and type. Options include individual / sole trader (good for self employed coaches), company (good for limited businesses), or non-profit (good for community clubs)

. Fill in your name, date of birth, home address, and phone number.

 Select your industry. There isn't really a perfect fit for activity providers so we recommend choosing either event ticketing or recreational camps. 

 Add your website. If you don't have one, use your social media page (if you don't have either then please use - 

 Write a short description of what you do. For example, "I’m a kids sports coach"

 Enter your bank details and choose a payout schedule. We suggest setting it to automatic, either daily or weekly.

. Enter your organisation name or the name that will appear on your customers' statements. 

 If you want, add a shorter version of your organisation name. For contact info, use your mobile number or leave it blank.

 Review all the details you’ve entered and make any changes if needed.

That’s it! You’ve set up your Stripe account and are ready to accept payments. You will be re-directed to the Played platform.
