How to list your activities

In this article, you'll learn how to list your first activity on our platform. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of creating an engaging and informative activity page.

Step 1: Click on the Create an Activity button.

Step 2: Select the Essex Activate Easter 2025 template.

Step 3: Rename the activity. In this example, we're calling it Tom's Test Club.

Step 4: You can change the image by clicking on it and uploading your own, or search for an image using the search bar.

Step 5: Add a description for your activity. Make sure it's clear and informative so that people know if this activity is for them.

Step 6: Include any relevant meeting instructions.

Step 7: Set up an address for your activity. Start typing the address and the system will pick it up.

Step 8: Check the venue name and adjust it if necessary.

Step 9: Adjust the capacity for how many people can participate in your activity.

Step 10: Select the gender and age range your activity is targeted at, and whether you cater to any accessibility requirements.

Step 11: Add a schedule for your activity. Choose the start date, start time, and duration of each day. In this example, we're selecting a duration of nine hours.

Step 12: Click on Repeat to set up an activity that occurs over multiple days. Select the days of the week your activity will take place on. In this example, we're selecting Monday through Friday.

Step 13: Set the end date for your activity. In this example, we're ending it after a couple of weeks.

Step 14: Confirm your schedule.

Step 15: Enter your contact information so participants can reach you if needed.

Step 16: Include a link to a relevant page on your website or social media. This is a required field. Make sure the link leads to the right place where people can find out how they can sign up.

Once you've completed these steps, you'll have successfully listed an activity. Please repeat this process if you are listing multiple activities.
