Managing participants (add and edit)
Participants are the individuals linked to a customer account — for example, each child in a family or each person attending a session. Orders and, depending on your settings, credits can be associated at participant level.
Add a participant
1. Open Customers and select a customer. 2. Open the Manage menu on the customer profile. 3. Select Add participant. A slide-out panel opens. Complete the following: - First name and Last name (required) - Date of birth (optional) — can help the system keep identities consistent if you use it; it may be left blank in some cases. - Initial wallet balance (optional) — if your organisation uses participant-level wallet tracking, you can start this participant with a non-negative number of credits. Leave blank for zero or if you do not need an opening balance. Select Add Participant to save. The Participants tab refreshes; you will see the new person in the list.
Participants list (customer profile)
On the Participants tab you will see each participant’s name, ID, contact details (where stored), and optionally a Credits column if wallet balance is tracked per participant. - Open a participant — click a row to go to the participant’s detail page, or use the row menu to Edit.
Edit a participant
1. From the customer’s Participants tab, go to a participant (click the row) or use Edit in the ⋯ menu. 2. You can update personal details (including date of birth where used). 3. If your account uses participant-level wallets, the page includes a Wallet section with balance and wallet history (see [Wallets and credit balances](wallets-and-credit-balances.md) and [Wallet transaction history](wallet-transaction-history.md)). 4. Select Save to apply changes, or Cancel to leave without saving.
If there are no participants yet
You may see an empty state explaining that once people start signing up, they will appear in the list. You can still use Add participant to create participants before any public sign-ups, when your workflow allows it.
