Welcome to Realm Chef! Let's get you started on your journey to effortless book marketing and management. Follow these steps to create your first project and upload your materials.
Step 1: Create a New Project
- Click the 'Home' Icon: Located in your sidebar navigation menu.
- Click 'Create New Project': You'll find this button on the dashboard.
- Enter Project Details: Fill in your project name (usually the book's title) and a brief project description.
Step 2: Upload Your Materials
- Types of Materials: You can upload any work or reference materials such as manuscripts, newsletter drafts, notes, etc.
- Supported File Types:
- .docx
- .jsonl
- .md
- .csv
- File Size Limit: Each file can be up to 50 MB.
- Max Word Count: There is currently a 200,000 token limit per file upload, which translates to approximately 150,000 words. If your book exceeds this limit, Realm Chef will provide an error message. Please consider the following solutions:
- Split the file into smaller parts and upload into the same project.
- Remove any non-text content.
- Upload a plain text version of your manuscript.
Step 3: Upload and Analyze
- Upload and Wait: Once you upload your materials, the system will analyze them. This process might take a few minutes.
- Explore While Waiting: Feel free to close the upload window and explore tools in the sidebar or work on another project.
Step 4: Dive Into Publishing Tools
- Start with the Story Bible Tool - We recommend beginning with the Story Bible tool in the sidebar to familiarize yourself with the platform. This tool will break down your book into key components like chapter summaries, character profiles, and more.
