Who can be in my home/what does a PadSplit member look like?

PadSplit Members are the same people you interact with everyday. It’s the person serving your food, delivering your Amazon package, or the security guard at your office. PadSplit Members must pass a background check, an evictions check and show proof of employment or income (see our  Membership Criteria ). PadSplit does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or familial status.

PadSplit does not currently allow  children , roommates or guests in shared housing. You should also note that PadSplit does not require our Members to have renter’s insurance.

PadSplit defaults to instant book, but Hosts also have the option to  approve booking requests . This can be turned on per property by contacting support@padsplit.com.
