Making your monthly rent payment

Steps to Make a Rent Payment

  1. Login to the Resident Portal:
  • Visit the HomeRiver website and click on the 'Resident Portal' link at the top of the homepage.
  • Enter your registered username and password. Click on 'Login' to access your resident dashboard.
  1. Navigate to 'Pay Rent':
  • Once inside the dashboard, locate and click on the 'Pay Rent' or 'Make a Payment' button. This is typically found on the left-hand side menu or prominently displayed on the dashboard.
  1. Enter Payment Details:
  • Input the amount you want to pay. While your due rent will be auto-populated, ensure it matches your monthly rent amount.
  • Choose your preferred payment method: credit card, debit card, or bank transfer (ACH). Some payment methods might incur additional fees, so please be sure to review any charges.
  1. Add Payment Method (If Not Already Saved):
  • If this is your first time or you're using a new payment method, you'll need to enter the payment details. For card payments, provide card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address. For bank transfers, enter your bank name, account number, and routing number.
  • You can choose to save this payment method for future transactions by checking the 'Save this payment method' box.
  1. Review & Confirm:
  • Double-check the payment details to ensure accuracy.
  • Click on 'Submit' or 'Confirm Payment' to process your rent payment.
  1. Confirmation:
  • Upon successful payment, a confirmation message will appear on screen, and a receipt will be sent to your registered email address. It's advised to keep these receipts for your records.

Troubleshooting

  • If you encounter any issues or errors during the payment process, try refreshing your browser or logging out and logging back in. If problems persist, contact HomeRiver's support team for assistance.
