Why do I have to wait for my account to be reviewed before I can buy Nigerian Stocks.

Before you can access the Nigerian Stock Market, a brokerage account must be created for you which will enable you to trade seamlessly. It takes a maximum of 2 business days for this account to be reviewed by the Central Securities Clearing System Plc [CSCS], which is responsible for creating brokerage accounts.

Please note that if you already have a Bamboo account, you would still need to wait for your Nigerian brokerage account to be activated as your Nigerian Stock brokerage account is different from your US Stock brokerage account.
