What is my money invested in?

When you invest in Treasury Bills, your money is loaned to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The government uses these funds to finance its operations. In return, you receive a predetermined interest rate, and at maturity, you are repaid the principal amount invested as well as your interest.
