How can I refer and earn rewards with Bamboo?

Referral rewards are only available on our Nigerian app for now.

How can I earn rewards?​Share your Bamboo referral link or referral code with your friends & family and earn rewards when anyone uses them to sign up and makes a first transaction that meets the conditions below.

What conditions must a referee meet for me to earn the reward? What counts as a successful referral?​A successful referral means your referee must use your signup link to register on Bamboo, deposit money into their Bamboo wallet and buy a stock worth $20 or more, or create a fixed return lock worth $100 or more.

What are the rewards I get?

Earn 2.5% of a new user's first trade if the trade is $20 or more

OR

Earn 1% of a new user's first Fixed Returns lock if the lock is $100 or more

Which of my friends are eligible to refer? / Who can I refer to earn rewards? Friends, family members, colleagues, everyone! as long as they are above 18 years of age and have a valid BVN.

What conditions must I complete for me to earn the reward?​ To earn a reward, you must have funded your Bamboo wallet at least once.

Where can I find my referral link?​Your referral link can be found in the ‘Invite a friend’ section on your Account page on the Bamboo app.

Where am I allowed to share my referral link?​Anywhere.

How do I track my referral status (whether a referral is pending or completed)​From your app, navigate to “Account” and click on "Invite a friend". You will be able to see the number of referees who downloaded the app through your link. You can click on the number for more information. A green tick beside the name of your referee means registration and funding have been completed.

How many referrals do I need for each reward?​ You get a reward for each successful referral you make that meets the conditions.

How will I receive my reward?​In the first week of each new month, the amount to be rewarded to you will be calculated and paid into your Bamboo wallet.

Is there a limit to the number of rewards I can earn?​You earn once per person i.e you can get a reward on either their first stock purchase or their first fixed returns investment; but there is no limit to the number of people you can refer. The more successful referrals you make, the higher your rewards!

What if a friend or family member signs up but forgets to use my link?​Your link will no longer be valid for them if they sign up directly. As such, you will not earn a reward.
