Enhanced Services

Enhanced Services are health plan sponsored clinical programs developed to improve patient outcomes. PQS contracts with health plans that offer disease state management related services addressing and incentivizing for the completion of clinical care encounters. Certain health plans (each a “Participating Health Plan”) interested in initiating pharmacy-driven programs designed to incentivize quality improvement efforts for specific patient populations (each a “Program”) are enabling community pharmacies with opportunities to intervene and capture valuable patient-level data. Programs are available to select pharmacies serving a significant portion of participating populations whereby program performance and intervention opportunities will be made available through the EQUIPP® dashboard in the Enhanced Services Tab.

NOTE: This view is limited to only pharmacies with current patient opportunities. As additional health plans and programs develop, more users will have access to these views and any supporting data.

Accessing Enhanced Services Opportunities

From the navigation bar on the left side of the Performance Dashboard, click on the “Enhanced Services” icon to access a list of programs your pharmacy may have.

Enhanced Services Program ViewThe Enhanced Services page will populate opportunities for those payer programs available in this view. Click on the program name to view the patient opportunities currently available.

Patients can be sorted by clicking on the column headers, and can also be filtered by Documentation Status by clicking on the "Select a Documentation Status" box above the program name. Complete documentation for patients populated within each Enhanced Services program is required to receive the program incentives.

Please review the program specific details to help maximize reimbursement through available patient engagement opportunities. The program details can be accessed within EQUIPP® by clicking on the triangle icon located to the right of the program name.
